In Russia probably 20-25% of the Russian population have a Ukrainian-born parent or grandparent. And in Ukraine it's about the same. Lots of people with -ov and -in last names are now virulently anti-Russian. Ukrainianism is a political ideology, it's barely an ethnic thing, honestly speaking.

It’s a pity that there are no real Ukrainians on the forum; some half-Polish mixture from Canada tells me about the difference between Russians and Ukrainians.

I don't agree. Russophobia makes us stronger. A strong Russian is a support for the whole world. This is our evil fate. The main thing is that Russophobia does not provoke a world war, where again the Russians will be kind to all sorts of Germans and British, and then they will say that they were raped... sometimes I think, why didn’t we rape 2 million German women? There was a chance...Why the hell are we so correct and good?

I have already stated it above: West Med + East Med in unadmixed Ukrainians will be at about 20%. There's no way unadmixed Russian will be anywhere close to these levels. And I'm not talking about Bilhorod, Voronizh, Kursk, etc - the areas of close contact between Ukrainians and Russians. Show me the Russians from historical Duchy of Moscovy territories with the same levels. It's just plain impossible.
