En estados unidos hay de todo tipo de mexicanos, acambio lo que se los Mexicanos que viven en Europa o España son mas blancos que el promedio muchos de ellos indistinguishable de los españoles.

I know there is a greater variation in looks, I was thinking more of particular facial features some might have, not pigmentation, they are not much darker than me over the summer.

While that's true, in every LatAm country there are some looks that are more prevalent than others.
