Default Where do you genetically plot vs. ancestry?

Just a dumb little exercise- where do you plot vs ancestry? Are you an outlier at all (if primarily descended from mainly or totally from one ethnic group) or if more mixed, does your plotting make logical sense? As a primarily NW/NE Euro Amerimutt with primarily German, Irish, Danish and Polish descent (and 1/32 AJ as well) I plot basically somewhere between East Germans-Austrians-Czechs which is not so surprising.

On PCA I plot closer to Danes and Norwegians, with English right behind. I’m English by ancestry, mostly from SE England (Kent, Sussex, Norfolk), so it makes sense given that there's a higher Germanic/North Sea input within those regions. It seems to make sense overall.

Me and my parents. Just my father is fully representative of his origin, but to be fair we have no real "Álava" samples, just "Basque speakers from Álava"taken from a single 2500 people Basque speakers valley that is just a 2% of the native population of this province. The real Álava province average would probably be more similar to Burgos North or Western Biscay people. Anyway here I used just Basque Spanish samples, not Basque Araba references.

I think that the results, if interpreted correctly, represent reality in an acceptable way .

Where is that particular PCA from? I have used the vahaduo one and it’s not very good for visibility.

I simply plot with Turkish maybe a bit leaning to Azerbaijan.

You should have kept this as a secret because this might make Gallop very jealous.

Depends on the test, in G25 and K13 I basically plot as Irish, in K36 I basically plot as English. Logically I should plot as Scottish.
    Spoiler!
