Default Scientists reveal shocking genetic origin of Slavic DNA

Being I am not as knowledgeable on this subject as other forum members, their comments about this would be welcome.

(Another AI voiceover video, I do try to avoid them)

    No PMs about classifications, please.

I haven't watched the video but I assume proto-Slavs were just woggified Balts.
    Spoiler!

Three things in that video are incorrect:

Slavs are not as numerous as 500 million, they are about 280 million.
Also, there is only very little, if any, of Turkic admixture in East Slavs.
Also, not just R1a but also I2a-Din is a shared Slavic Y-DNA marker:

The rest of that video is broadly correct.
My DNA Origin analysis for 16 EUR (you get 2 reports examining ancestry from 3012 regions, 226 countries): https://www.exploreyourdna.com/DNAOrigin.aspx

This analysis is not based on G25 but on ADMIXTURE. And it has more regions than any other DNA test!

The split appears to have occurred very early, already during the Strzyżów culture period. The main difference was the Siberian-related Seima-Turbino phenomenon component, which later came to dominate the Baltic populations along the male line.

The author demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of the subject. Yamnaya and Corded Ware ancestry form the foundation of virtually all populations of Northern Europe, the Eurasian steppe, and much of Central Asia. There is nothing uniquely Slavic about this ancestry. The only distinctive aspect is that the Slavs remained largely within the region where the Corded Ware and Globular Amphora populations interacted and gave rise to subsequent populations, while many other descendant groups expanded and diversified across much wider regions. What is arguably more distinctive is the absorption and persistence of an older substrate derived from the local hunter-gatherer populations of Northern Europe, which remained embedded in the genetic landscape of the region long after the arrival of steppe-derived groups.
