Is the Orthodox Church casteist and anti-semitic

I just wonder. I dont want to offend, but i think they are bit middle ages. What does Twistedmind think?

Im orthodox but i think they could be a bit more tolerant and relaxed.

Emh, what I am supposed to say/do? You find Eastern Orthodox Church as medieval by mentality, because it does not practice online confessions. Not sure if I understand how your toughts flow.

i dont know, maybe make a statement how you see the church in the 21st century and also what do you think of the old calendar, do you think we could change it like greeks and rumanians did

Gigolo, mission of Church is bringing people closer to God, not following of trends. What's so dificult over old calendar?

If you want a non-racist church just convert to Arab Orthodoxy it's the same as the Greek one, but has minor differences that come from Arab cultural elements. It's not racist or anti-Semitic.

How excaclty you can convert from one religion to that very same religion. As far as I know, and I know it excelently, Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Church has adjective Greek in its official name.

LOL what made you think that? if some orthodox are like that, its caused by the culture they grew up in, not by church. sure, such elements do find their way into orthodox clergy, same as into catholic one (remember nazi priests and president of wartime slovakia, a catholic priest as well)
