very true...
ISIS has no military gear factory to make rifle, tank etc. They only have some equipment they seized from Iraq/Syrian Army. They are not more than 10-15,000 people. How a coalition formed by USA, Russia, Europe who have a technology/missiles able to hit a target from 2000 km can be unsuccesful against these little "terror" group? Ridicilous.
These are some tanks home-made by ISIS :
While This is The USA:
and Russia:
ISIS is still alive because;
1. Iraq/Syrian solders and the terrorist groups backed by the west like PYD/YPG are too coward to fight ISIS.
2. The west do not want to finish ISIS.

I care. Palmyra didn't belong to the Syrians only, but to UNESCO, to the World Heritage. ISIS is not only an Arab but predominantly a Sunni terrorist organization. Would you be happy the day when Turkish ISIS members destroy Ephesus ? Would you applause the "demonized" Islamists ?
Anyway, the millions of Human lives killed by ISIS or al-Assad (made even more victims than ISIS), his Russian allies and various rebel groups will always matter more than ruins, I don't care how many milleniums they have behind. One day, we shall rebuild all this exactly as it was before (thanks to modelized computer technology). But Human lives will be gone forever.

Actually, ISIS has a manpower of around 100.000 men. That's more than many army around the world (Canada have an army of 66.000 men).
They receive a lot of money and weapons from differents countries (including France). They have partisans in many places. And some countries had an ambigous position on them.
Strategically they have been smart and they took the best of the anarchic situation in middle east.
So, in fact that's not really a surprise they are still here.
The point is that an intervention to destroy ISIS will requier the send of many ground troops. It would be bloody and nobody really want to make the sacrifice. And yeah some people in the west concienciously or not want to keep ISIS alive.
There are some rumors that Chechens regiment will be send in Syria. It's a good news, they might change a lot of thing. Just their reputations will have an impact on the situation.

Arab armies in general have massive problems with discipline. Saudi Iraq Syrian or Egyptian, all the same lazyness and low discipline.
It's sad that Russia has to waste it's money and resources /lives fighting wars for worthless Arabs.
Before Russian intervention, Hezbollah and Iran prevented collapse of the Syrian Army.
