hahaha, how can the Spanish be lighter than Belgians? unless alpines have a different sort of skin that somehow is darker than med skin, also the sun is quite low in Spain between November and March so it isn't really gonna be that strong to tan people.

This study was performed by Nina Jablonski a very prominent American anthropologist.

"Southern Europeans (measures taken from Spaniards) show a skin pigmentation in parts of the body not exposed to the sun similar to that of Northern Europeans and, in some cases, even lighter."

I honestly believe that this study is more correct, no kidding are the British darker than Europe Same skin tone as Kurds? and the lighter Dutch don't make sense

XIn any case there is more difference in tones between the same population than between the average between countries, for example the Irish have a lighter tone on average than the Poles, but the Darkest Irish is darker than any Pole

France has summers almost as hot as Spain, especially eastern Spain which isn't as hot as people make it out to be, Alicante summers are no worse than Marseille or Toulouse summers and the UV levels in France are pretty high as well.

Their a bit lighter but fundamentally i would say that they are both Anatolian derived Caucasoids but the Spanish show a darker tone.

Yeah, the one for London is stupid and most likely used immigrants in the sample too. Look at the other British areas including Wales though.

They're all native Provencal people, there are dark Provencal people none of them look non-French. Funny, you're doing the same thing that Gallop does but for France lol.
