We recently found some very old documents in my grand parents librairy, signed by Napoleon about some properties given to the family. It's still unclear what the deal was about precisely. I d pay some good money to know what our ancestor had to do with him and what was their business exactly. I know we could sell the documents for a hefty price, but that won't happen.

One of my great-grandfathers came to Brazil alone at very young age, he was 18, I know so little about him, the backstory is that his mother died and his father (who went to WWI btw) re-married and they were constantly arguing and fighting, one day he packed his stuff and left for good from Bessarabia, then united with Kingdom of Romania.
He went to Hamburg Germany from bessarabia, Romania and took a boat to Brazil. I'd like to ask him the whole thing! how, why, how much and give him a hug, the man I share my name with. And hear about our family origins from him.
He came and did all this alone! My family told me he traveled around Eruope before coming to Brazil (few years before), on train, so I suppose his family had some wealth. My family still has his passport (with a stamp from germany), and I've found a boarding list here in Brazil with his name.
All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces

During the First World War one of my ancestor from mother side was taken prisoner by russians. In Russia he became a fanatic communist and he joined to the October Revolution in Petrograd, according to legends he has talked with Lenin personally. I don't know it's true or not but interesting.

I'd like to know where the gold was buried.
