Do Slavs celebrate July 4th?
I don't have a Slavic community near me so I have no idea. We gave you Rock, blue jeans, and Marlboro cigs so a little respect would nice.

Polish Americans have their own heritage holiday on the death date of Revolutionary War general Casimir Pulaski. It just happens to be on my birthday, although I am only 1/16th ethnic Polish.

They might have that but Im sure they celebrate 4th of July too, not only the other day. That might be a extra day just.

I’m 25% Polski and celebrate the 4th, but I don’t think I’m what you have in mind with your question.

Immigrants probably care more about Independence Day than Thanksgiving. They probably came from a nation that had some kind of national day. Thanksgiving is more unique.

A immigrant is someone who is born somewhere else, and migrated to another country. Someone born in a country is not a immigrant but his parents or grandparents might have been immigrants. Why do you consider slavs as community immigrants? Most Serbs for example emigrated to the United States in the early 20th century around the world wars, they probably have 4 grandparents born in the USA. Why do you consider them immigrants?

What I can say is "thank you USA you are my best friend you are the peacekeeperyou are the legend", so of course I celebrate 4th July not even being in US for once
