Here in Romania they are terrible with describing skin color and appearance of missing persons or suspects. A few days ago I saw on TV that they were looking for some guy who was missing/lost and almost certainly was Gypsy and the police described his skin color as black, even though he was just somewhat brown and quite Caucasian looking. Here people don't really say someone is brown tbh, but most people think you are either white or black. Romanians are quite ignorant about such things. They might describe you as white, as you are lighter than that guy and calling you black is quite a stretch.
