Maybe it could be somewere in between I guess, AncestryDNA gives the west Asian result to a lot of people and a lot of the time the west Asian is too high and seems impossible I watched this family test on AncestryDNA and there son who was Nordic looking and was a normal white American of like Irish and Scandinavian descent I think got like 4 percent west Asian or something which I find hard to believe I have also seen balkanites get some high amounts of west Asian results I am actually waiting for my ancestry DNA results I might also do 23andme in the future

I think Ancestry makes people more exotic by far.

Probably because they go back in time farther I mean I think they go over 1000 years might be 1500 not excactly sure while 23andme goes back only 500

Some say Jews at 23andme tamper with people's results adding some extra Negro percentages. I personally don't believe that.

Neither do I. There would be more white people with black ancestry if that were the case. The few whites who have small amounts of black ancestry are from areas where that would be expected, the american south, lat. america, portugal, etc. They don't do interviews before the test, so the cracked article wouldn't apply to them.

Of course. They don't know their customers at all. I can buy a test for my aunt or grandmother or anyone else. Full Europeans beside the aforementioned groups don't have any SSA on 23andme. Moreover, some non-caucasoid admixture is included into European clusters, for example the North African is included into the Iberian cluster and the Siberian into the Finnish one if I'm not mistaken.

I didn't know that. If that is the case, it would explain where the N. African in my 23andMe score went! It makes sense, though, considering how ancient the admixture is (going all the way back to the Phoenicians). I'm pretty sure original N. Africans were caucasoid, they've just admixed a lot with black Africans. But when you spot a Berber from areas that are relatively isolated, they look similar to S. Europeans in facial structure and coloration.
