If you created "paste" from that, check url of it and post here. Something like that https://pastebin.com/7cn4xK0C
Cool. I may as well curate the K13 new world sheet, seeing as they're my averages. Here is the URL: https://pastebin.com/CzzGEH9D
Can we finally have two separate K13 updated sheets now, one more broad and one more specific?

I think it'd be a nice feature if when the sheets on "Vahaduo tools for Gedmatch calculators" change, that there is a date associated with each so folks can tell versions or last updates for reference.
Here is the URL with averages for those countries: https://pastebin.com/1H0TwEFm . My idea is not to have national averages for this sheet if there are smaller regional averages available, it is essentially for the smallest divisions necessary. I hope all the small German regional averages will be added to this sheet for example, and more condensed ones for the main sheet.
OK so it is K13 Updated Smaller Regions Version https://vahaduo.genetics.ovh/k13-vah...l_regions.html
Now is only your "paste" for NW Euro but as Feiichy said you can add rest of averages and gradually replace bigger averages with smaller if they will be created.
Yes, clearly. I included them for any region, but multigenerational Jews/Italians didn't show up much in most areas, at least on gedmatch.
I was mainly just trying to limit it to groups from within Europe, but I couldn't be bothered working out which Turkish groups were in geographical Europe or not.
That's what the main sheet is for. This sheet is more about modelling smaller European regions, distances to other regions, PCAs etc. The 2-way mechanism will also be faster with less data there.
But I can add the non-Euro's below if people want. Or maybe just a few basic non-white racial averages - SSA, East Asian, Amerindian etc.
there many things that should be changed, but first, what will be the concept of the new sheets?
I think in your sheet, Serbs and Croats should have only one average, and more diverse ethnicites should have 4-5 averages at most, if you agree? Or do you think there should be a third sheet for that?
Could you say what would you want fixed?
Yes, I agree with you. I think that's good idea. I would just have two averages for Croats (plus general), because we basically have two clusters (Kajkavian and the rest).
For Serbs maybe you can make one for most of Serbs and other for SE and Montenegrin Serbs for eg plus general average. Just an idea.
Yes, for nations without notable regional diversity like Albanians for eg I really agree to one average. For larger nations 4-5 max, true.
If you want to only have one or max two averages in K13 Updated then you can put all Hungarian regional averages to the expanded sheet and only leave the Transylvanian average, since it is pretty unique. Maybe leave North Hungarian too, since it has a distance of 3 to the Hungarian average, but I don't know if that is enough to make it that unique?
Also if you decide to make broader averages for Greece, Italy and other countries, try to weigh them based on how much people those averages represent. Some of them represent ca. 300.000 people, while others ca. 2 million.
in your sheet, remove the regional Serbian and Montenegrin averages, and update these:
also, some of the Greek averages are false (like the one for Western Thrace which is actually Pelpoponnesian), they should be replaced by these academic samples and proper averages before you group them into larger regions.Code:Serb,24.83,29.18,17.10,8.89,15.96,1.66,0.53,0.30,0.61,0.49,0.33,0.06,0.08

Do I understand correctly that my current averages were pasted to "smaller regions" sheet and that's where they are expected to be updated moving forward?
And the usual old sheet is now meant for bigger regions? Perhaps that can be mentioned in the name of the sheet to make it clear.
If my usual averages are by region, then these will be geographic to avoid any confusion between similar names.
Here are averages for the bigger regions sheet. This is not enough to cover the diversity found in each region, but if you want to limit, then that's one way to do it and still have averages that capture the genetic profiles found in Romanians.

I have no idea how to make Bulgaria into 3 parts so that it keeps the diversity of the Coast, Thrace, Sofia region, Northwest, Central Balkan mountains, etc. Ideas would be appreciated.
Also both have links to other one at the top.

I removed French Provence from the main sheet and renamed it as an outlier in the detailed sheet, as it plots deep into Italian territory (Stearsolina and I agreed to share editing access for both sheets). Also removed Cornish and Orcadian from the main sheet as they're unnecessary/unreliable.
That looks fine with me.
I had 6 regions before as in the NUTS-2 map below, and now they've been reduced to 3 for the "Bigger regions" sheet.

How do you get the US averages and why is Florida missing?
How do you get national averages anyway?
Left Hungarian, Transylvanian and Hungarian_North for now. Let me know if you want any further changes. I think keeping Hun north is okay for Hungary which has medium-sized population for Euro standards, and they are notably more Slavic.
that way it shows continuity towards Slovaks in the north Hungarian average does not have.
-removed all Bosniak averages except general and Sandžak
-removed all Hungarian averages except general, Transylvania and northern
-removed all Croatian regions, except general, added northern and southern
-removed Serbian/Montenegrin regions and updated their averages
-Aromanian average was updated
-deleted Greek regions and added all regions Vbn posted
what to do with Greece now?
