I am quite certain I am partially southern Italian, my Zadar side of the family has Croatized Italian surnames
Also, even though I am, it's believe it is quite minimal and aren't Southern Italians quite east mediterranean oriented?

Some are from early 1700s, while some are even older
My mothers surname comes from a Dalmatian island at it was recorded in early 1600s but they migrated to Zadar and then the village my mother is from, they mixed with the locals who have extremely uncommon surnames for Dalmatia
They are more common in Croatian Zagorje and Ukraine/Slovakia than in Croatia in general, if you heard them first thing, you would think they were from Ukraine
That is too far to show in your Gedmatch results. Since you do have elevated West Med I think Zadar locals are somewhat collectively mixed with Italians. Idk, hard to tell anything.
