It would make much more sense undoubtely even not to make any mean and put directly the references that are in the datasheet, but this is not the point.

I know that Baleares and Corsica are closer between them and that Corsica it´s quite an outlier "outlier" comparing to those two. A mean between Baleares and Sardinia solely would be better.

But even knowing this, I think that by adding Sardinia to the mean, it is possible to represent a wider group of people in a single reference, although the distances of the total result increase.

And that is what I do with all these references made with averages and with these models with only 4 references, covering large groups of the population giving them an adequate result, although for that I sacrifice "something" the distance.

Anyway, I don't think that according to your ancestry, changing a western Mediterranean sample will affect much at your distances.

Anyway I will do that reference.

And I think that goal is aproximately met, don't you think so?

i imagine the sardinian sample can switch the places between west med and atlanto-med for many people or it can make them look closer to central med instead of west med

So I was wrong, distances are quite worse in average, for me and my mother are worse although my father distance is better.
