Well, protestantism is hardly religion, since there is so much diverging denominations under that label, from High Church Anglicanism, which is theologicaly verry close to Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Ctaholicism, to fundamentalist Calvinists (US Methodists), than Jehowah Witnesses, and in other side verry undefined and feeble modernist denominations.
Anyway, Protestant dogma is more distant to Orthodoxy, and everything from ritualism to dogmatic is unfamiliar to Orthodox and leads us to feel somewhat uncomfortable with it arround, speaking on strictly subconsciousness level.
